Engineering
Dyess Aviation is committed to our customer’s needs. We strive to understand schedule, mission, technical requirements, and price objectives. Defining the architecture to meet the mission requirement, on time and on budget, is critical to the operator’s success. While working through the engineering requirements we will assist in determining what equipment can be retained and/or replaced, whether existing equipment can either be modified to meet new requirements or replaced with a suitable form, fit, and function replacement items. Also, by establishing, during the program development phase the following: determining I/O interfaces, Coordinating Group A design, Determining and defining the impact of the requirements and equipment on the aircraft, Coordinating with the customer non-avionics modifications (APU, Air Conditioning/Pressurization, etc.) Determining the necessary test requirements, ground/flight test plans/procedures, etc. to meet customer requirements, perform investigation/studies/research to assist in customer goals, ascertain maintainability and reliability of our customer’s aircraft.
